A great affordable place to live in when you are new to the City of Ottawa is the Accora Village ( community at Nepean - 



Here are some reasons for suggesting this location - 

1. Great location in terms of the City. Well connected by OCTranspo (, midway between Downtown & the IT Hub in Kanata, close to the Ottawa River and more -

2. Cineplex is pretty close, so good entertainment option to have.

3. The Apartments are quite old (~40+ years) but have been remodelled to a large extent and are quite clean and luxurious.

4. Bayshore Mall is in the vicinity, so that is a good hangout place (especially in winter wink)

5. 2 schools in the community - St. Rose of Lima ( and Bayshore Public (

6. A very expansive centre field - Bayshore Community Park, great to play frisbee or soccer in the summer and great to roll around in snow during winter

7. A short walk away to the Ottawa River bank

8. Great staff serving you in the Rental center (especially people like Errol) & amazing and warm Lobby Ambassadors (like Sandra).

9. Great maintenance support who respond quick and are ever smiling (like Robert)!

10. A superb community center with Swimming Pool, Gym, Basketball/Badminton courts, Party rooms etc.
